Our Printed Circuit Boards are used in many applications, including medical devices, automotive and industrial.
We currently have an opening for a PPAP – Validation Specialist in the Quality Department of our Otsego, MI location.
Job Summary:
The PPAP – Validation Specialist will work with customers (internal and external) to develop documentation for electronic products produced by Safari Circuits.
Responsibilities to include:
· Generate PPAP documentation for new programs, transfers, or engineering changes as required, including submittal of customer PPAP’s and maintaining the PPAP samples.
· Develop and write Validation Documents: Risk Assessment, Validation Plan, User Requirements, Functional Requirements, IQ- OQ- PQ, Validation Summary Report.
· Develop Control Plans, PFMEA’s, and Process Flow Charts.
· Identify key process and quality characteristics and monitoring methods.
· Plan and perform MSA’s and Gage R & R’s.
· Plan and perform process capability studies.
· Develop and perform Design of Experiments (DOE’s).
· Monitor and measure process changes and analyze the effects.
· Identify and implement continuous improvements.
· Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree preferred or 2-3 years of PPAP – Validation experience in a manufacturing facility.
· Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability work independently
· Organized and task oriented.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
· Must have a strong command of Microsoft Office Word and Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
Preferred Qualifications:
· 2-3 years of electronic manufacturing experience.
· Knowledge of printed circuit board assemblies and industry standards.
· ISO 13485: 2016 and ISO 9001: 2015 experience.
