Job Summary:
Clean Room Operators must be highly safety conscious, quality focused, proficient, and accurate using tape measures, mechanically inclined, and experienced in computerized reporting.
Job Duties:
- Adhere to all clean room practices and procedures
- Keep clean room sanitized, neat and organized
- Keep clean room machinery clean and organized
- Complete all necessary paperwork for proper documentation for customer and follow internal expectations/processes and procedures
- Ensure proper product packing, handling, and labeling
- Ensure proper storage and transportation of WIP and Finished Goods
- Move WIP and Finished Goods in and out of the clean room according to proper procedures
- Monitor material needs to ensure production lines do not run out of material or supplies
- Run the job by starting the machines and monitoring the production.
- Properly label all rolls produced
- Adjust the machine during the run and respond to problems found during visual inspection
- Review the packing specifications by locating the information in the computer system to ensure the customer specifications are met
- Inspect film each day for any defects
- Review packing specifications
- Maintain a safe working environment by following environments by following all company safety policies and procedures; report unsafe conditions and incidents
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Maintain company's quality standards
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three years’ experience working in a clean room environment preferred
- Ability to work at a fast pace
- Ability to multitask and read production tickets
- Ability to perform math calculations including fractions
- Must be able to read tape measure, including micrometer
- Must be computer literate
- Must be dedicated to continuous improvement
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stretch, or stand for extended periods of time
