Dematic Corp is looking for a dynamic financial leader to lead its controlling activities for Engineering in North America. The position has visibility to senior levels of leadership in the organization including regional CEO/CFO and global executives. This role will allow the ability to operate at executive level while overseeing and fully understanding the day-to-day operations of the GPE organization. The position has broad exposure to Global Finance and will report directly to reporting directly to the Sr. Finance Manager, Global Finance.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $75,000-$165,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
This is What You Will do in This Role:
Business partner with VP Engineering to drive business results.
Own and operate the forecasting process for engineering and certain support functions. In this the leader will partner with regional teams to ensure forecasting process is streamlined and accurate.
Review and present the monthly actual/forecast results to various levels in the organization providing detailed insight into trends and opportunities while providing recommendations for improvement as required.
Ability to analyze business trends, the curiosity to dig into the details to get to root causes and finally explain complex financial situations in simple terms.
Support Regional & Global Engineering (US, Canada & Mexico) including
Supporting local operations and finance teams in cost center planning and hourly rate calculation
Monthly forecast, annual budget planning, actual to forecast/budget variance causal
Absorption analysis and cost management
Workload and capacity calculation (SIOP)
Headcount management
Overall controlling of the departments.
Global monthly Ops Reviews
Continuous Improvement
Lead and manage the annual budget process within the areas of responsibility.
Leadership, performance management and talent development for 1-2 direct reports.
What We are Looking For:
Bachelor's Degree with a strong concentration in Finance and/or Accounting.
Demonstrated career progression with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
Experience in managing a high performing team with a servant leadership mindset
Exposure to a manufacturing environment and standard costing within a large corporation.
Experience with SAP is advantageous
Ability to attend conference calls on a daily basis.
Ability to speak and productively work with direct reports, managers, and executives within the organization.
Occasional ability to travel to Engineering sites and to in person meetings.
