Sunrise Childcare Center is looking for a Full Time Director.
The Director should create a warm and welcoming environment for all children and families and they should be a partner with the parents in their children's learning and development
Some duties of a Director include:
- Director is responsible for daily operations of the day care center. They ensure a safe and educational environment for all children, manage teaching staff, and develop any curricula in coordination with teachers, communicate with parents, and uphold the center’s reputation.
- Directors work closely with the center’s teachers and staff creating plans or programs to meet state or federal requirements and parent’s expectations
- Staff management- interviewing, hiring, training, making sure background and fingerprinting checks have been completed
- Directors must make sure facility is safe and well stocked. Also making sure all equipment is safe and in working order free from hazards and ensuring facility is always clean and orderly
- Directors manage facility’s finances, which includes creating and working within a budget
- Directors market the facility by promoting and bringing awareness and which services you provide
- Directors meet with parents and teachers keeping them up to date on children’s development and progress, including discussing ways to address any learning or behavioral issues
