The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $36,000- 72,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
Core Responsibilities:
The Test Technician will be responsible for in an industrial/ automation environment:
Testing electronic assemblies before they are installed in upper-level assemblies
Repairing parts returned from customers
Powering up Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs)
Testing vehicles in a simulation of the customer's system
Assisting the Engineering team with test track setup
Ensuring that the end product meets company standards
Working on multiple projects to support AGVs ship dates
Willingness to inform Engineering of all issues and force issue resolution
Other duties as assigned by Dematic
Basic Qualifications:
Certificate from a trade/technical school or equivalent experience
1-3 years of electronics or testing experience
Working experience with MS Office, Windows OS, IP, and Networking
Working knowledge of electronics including the ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
The ability to work with data collection equipment including oscilloscopes, meters, sensors, and gauges
Enjoys getting your hands dirty and being involved in building, testing, and du-bugging tools throughout the development cycle
Takes a logical, analytical approach to problem-solving and pays close attention to detail
Self-motivated, able to meet strict deadlines, and results-oriented
