Job Description: Removes asbestos from ceilings, walls, pipes, flooring, siding, boilers, and other structures, following hazardous waste handling guidelines. Assembles scaffolding and seals off work area, using plastic sheeting and duct tape. Places asbestos into plastic disposal bags and seals bags using duct tape.
Basic Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience or the equivalent in training and related experience. Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
Regional travel will be required. Must be willing to stay overnight, often 2-3 nights per week depending upon location of job.
Usually work 4-10 hour shifts
