Bi-Weekly Pay
As a CNC Programmer I for Panelsyou will develop 4 axis NC programs utilizing Mastercam and other CAD/CAM programs for profiling metallic and non-metallic structural core materials and sub-assemblies for various aircraft applications and panel applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Program 4-Axis CNC routers for a variety of part construction and geometry
Select cutting tools, tool paths, cutting speeds and feed rates appropriate for each job
Assist in the training of CNC operators
Work with CNC operators to validate NC programs
Machine and inspect first article parts
Specify and implement product and process improvement
Produce drawings for internal and external production
Perform DFM activities such as choosing appropriate tolerances, choosing materials, 3D modeling of products, suggest product design changes to aid in manufacturing efficiency, etc.
Ensure quality control requirements arepossible with chosen process
Assist in the design and creation of fixtures, jigs, tools, and special equipment for production processes.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years programming experience in a productionenvironment
Mastercam experience required.
High School Diploma or GED; two-year technical degree preferred.
Advanced proficiency in G and M Code
Working Knowledge of technical drawings and GD&T
Mastercam for Solidworks experience preferred.
Requirements:
Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR Regulations. Therefore, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident ('Green Card').
