Position Summary: The Field Sales Representative for the Style Life brand is the person responsible for providing day-to-day support and assistance to the field, as well as basic training. This position is responsible for providing stylists with a successful and enjoyable experience through helping solve customer service issues, technical issues, training new stylists, and fostering positive community engagement and morale, amongst a myriad of other special projects. The Field Sales Representative is focused on supporting the Director of Field Development in encouraging and growing the field through comprehensive training, incentives, and rewards and recognition; ultimately keeping our stylists engaged and supported to have long-term growth for the entire organization.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keeps the community engaged through morale-boosters such as kudos, handwritten cards (birthday, promotion, top 10, etc.) as directed by Sales.
- Creates, executes, and maintains up-to-date and on-trend social selling training in collaboration with the Digital Media Specialist and Director of Field Development.
- Develops New Stylist training, including Starter Guide, Social Selling training, and weekly New Stylist Training calls.
- Develops and executes small focus group training sessions in collaboration with the Director of Field Development.
- Assists the Digital Media Specialist in creating, executing, and maintaining the monthly virtual celebration script.
- Creates content for the company wide weekly newsletter, The Weekly Wrap.
- Maintains approvals and terminations, and ensures information is updated and current in Stylist Studio, Sales Portals, and appropriate Facebook Groups.
- Gives excellent customer service and support in all digital avenues – Facebook pages, Facebook groups, answering DMs, and taking phone calls per assigned brand(s) needs.
- Keeps community of followers and subscribers engaged within the assigned brand’s community.
- Responds to and resolves general inquiries or issues with products, community members, or technical needs via phone or email.
- Aids the System Administrator of the websites in returns, exchanges, and solving issues.
Training & Development
- Creates concepts and updates for monthly themed In-Home & Virtual Party Training with written scripts and aligned marketing materials.
- Identifies and creates Small Group Intensive training sessions on a quarterly basis for New Stylists, different promotions, etc.
- Stays up to date with Social Selling trends and helps to implement these trends into training for the field of stylists.
- Develops and manages the content for the training portal, The Studio.
- Develops a comprehensive New Stylist Training program with a New Stylist Guide, weekly calls, etc.
- Develops comprehensive Promotion Pathways for training sessions and materials.
- Writes the content and designs the Stylist Newsletter, “The Weekly Wrap” on a Weekly Basis.
Stylist Associate
- Recognizes and rewards stylist incentives by placing award orders.
- Provides Tech fee reminders and supports getting a stylist back to good standing after a tech fee failure.
- Aids in clarifying Commission inquiries.
- Supports a positive stylist community by processing Account Terminations based on request or violation of policies and procedures.
- Ensures stylists have access to the training portal (The Studio) by way of daily approvals.
- Ensures access to the training portal (The Studio) is reserved only for those that are part of the community by removing terminated stylists upon termination.
- Works with the System Administrator to clearly communicate inventory updates by maintaining Product Alert Lists.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position does not have any internal supervisory responsibilities currently; however, it does have external supervisory responsibilities. Those responsibilities would include ensuring that the Style Life Stylists feel supported, valued, and are also held accountable to adhere to the company’s policies and procedures in a manner the properly represents the mission of Style Life.
