POSITION SUMMARY
CU*Answers' Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for working with data to provide our customers with results and services that are data-driven. The Business Intelligence Analyst provides support and execution both internally and externally for the following. All Asterisk Intelligence products/services, data education, research as directed by management, monitoring and fulfilling requests/orders for all Asterisk Intelligence products/services and bringing a well-thought perspective to business development planning and conversations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Works with business leaders, users and data producers to adopt and practice best data management processes and data quality standards, creating a culture of \"strong data" within the company.
Analyzes existing practices to isolate areas ripe for improvement or enhancement.
Serves as a client facing liaison between Credit Union Professionals, Credit Union Data, and CU*Answer's Analytical tool offerings. This day-to-day support will involve research, and escalations if necessary.
Evaluate priority of client-facing requests and use judgement to ensure that critical issues are communicated and resolved.
Participate in and develop education programs both internally and externally with an emphasis on the utility of data, CU*Answer's analytical product offerings, and industry trends in data usage.
Analyzes CU*Answer's Corporate data (as directed by management), identifying opportunities and threats, supporting management with trends and forecasts, and offering data insight.
Provides service as an available analyst to the benefit of our clients and industry by establishing best practices, education, consulting, Ala Carte Services, and recurring analytical services.
Assists in coordinating client education as it pertains to CU*BASE data analytics with special attention paid to offerings from the Asterisk Intelligence team.
Takes responsibility for increasing job knowledge, familiarity with credit union operations, training and problem-solving skills. This includes the completion of all assigned EPP courses.
Maintain a positive contribution as a member of the CMS Team and complete all tasks assigned by management to meet team objectives.
Delivering project results and educating clients via Web, Video, or otherwise.
Generation of project sheets/custom projects based on CMS interactions with clients.
Billing generation for CMS team members.
Other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
High School graduate or equivalent is required.
Two-year degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience is required.
Extensive knowledge of credit union operations, regulations and procedures, accounting and balancing functions.
Thorough working knowledge of CU*BASE software, CMS products and services.
Superior research and analytical skills to track and predict trends.
Ability to deliver software support to any client personality style.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including classroom training experience and expertise.
Must be able to collaborate with executives, creative teams, research and development, and product development teams.
Excellent negotiation, problem solving and analytical skills
Proficient in standard office software applications (MS Office)
Must be willing to take calculated risks and manage expectations of both internal teams and existing customers.
Ability to use discretion when dealing with sensitive or confidential data.
