Job Description Summary
The Marketing Operations team executes and optimizes campaign management responsibilities across a broad spectrum of addressable and digital media within our marketing technology (MarTech) Stack. Under general supervision, the Marketing Manager supports Travelers by taking a lead role in vendor, platform and campaign management, quality assurance analytics, automation technology, and project management.
This position will perform daily marketing responsibilities while identifying and implementing improvements with the people, processes and technology related to campaign management.
Note: This role does not manage employees.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Work within an Agile team to manage and optimize Marketing Operations processes and technology such as ad trafficking within Google Campaign Manager, web tagging within Tealium, metadata management within a marketing warehouse and mid-funnel system integrations with the call center and online quoting application.
Leads technology and process adoption efforts within Marketing Operations by serving as a business owner for projects such as the development of a custom Campaign Management Application and modernizing technology used throughout our MarTech Stack.
Facilitates 3rd party quoting application integrations by coordinating internal and external IT partners, gathering project requirements, assisting with integration quality assurance, and creating technical documentation for integrations.
Reviews existing processes pertaining to platform management, requirements gathering, data capture and transfer and control checks to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Serves as liaison between internal and external teams involved in the prospect-to-customer journey to enable validated data integrations between our marketing and sales technology.
Creates Marketing Operations support collateral and process documentation used by IT and business teams.
Defines and runs validation control checks on campaign configurations pre and post launch to identify and resolve defects.
Monitors ongoing progress of individual projects and develops communications to update management.

Minimum Qualifications
Education, Work Experience, & Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in marketing, data management, computer science or related field or equivalent experience preferred.
Typically 5+ years of experience in managing and delivering complex projects related to marketing or web development.
Thorough knowledge of marketing campaign planning and execution best practices required.
Working knowledge of campaign/project management and data governance.
Working knowledge of API integrations using XML/JSON and experience with tools such as Postman and SoapUI preferred.
Experience working on broad/business-wide projects and initiatives working directly with senior management preferred.
Thorough knowledge of data warehouse concepts and architecture preferred.
Thorough knowledge of the principles of data collection, relational databases, as well as data management and data lineage preferred.
Experience with the analysis and design of business processes preferred.
Experience managing people preferred.

Additional Colorado Wage Information:
The salary range in Colorado for this position is $82,800 to $124,200.
All employees are eligible for performance-based cash awards, either through Travelers annual bonus program or through the Reward and Recognition (R&R) program.
