Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Specification/Visual Tools Software Programmer to join our team in Holland, MI.
As a Specification/Visual Tools Software Programmer, you will:
Support software development and maintenance of electronic specification and visuals tools by programming data into Haworth's specification tools in support of all Haworth product lines.Supports development of software functionality enhancements to existing product lines and extensions supporting new product launches; analyzes and determines future extension development.
Do you have these required qualifications?
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
Do you have these preferred qualifications?
Programming experience (Configura CM) preferred.
Game development experience preferred.
Experience with C++ and Java preferred.
Ideally, you have also demonstrated the following:
Ability to successfully prioritize tasks and multi-task when necessary.
Knowledge of three-dimensional (3D) programming preferred.
Strong business orientation with analytical aptitude; detail oriented.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to establish measurements to report on software change progress and completion.
Ability to tenaciously work to meet or exceed goals, deriving satisfaction from goal achievement and continuous improvement.
Must be willing to receive extensive training in applicable software packages (currently Canvas and CET Designer) and successfully apply this training to programming tasks as required.
PC and keyboard/mouse skills; working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and other corporate-supported software.
Ability to occasionally travel overnight away from corporate offices, including internationally.
