Bi-Weekly Pay
Plascore is seeking an experiencedProduction Scheduler. This individual will scheduleproduction according to customer requirements, while maintaining machine utilization standards and on-time delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plans, prepares, issues and controls production schedules utilizing the ERP system and coordinates with material requirements to ensure a controlled flow of materials timed to meet production requirements, maximize efficiency and reduce setup and waste.
Utilize ERP system for Material Requirements Planning, Master Production Scheduling and Capacity Requirements Planning.
Responsible for the management of inventory, including material shortages, substitutions, cycle counts and physical inventories.
Follow up to ensure that scheduled dates are met and expedited or make necessary adjustments to ensure on time delivery.
Advises customer service and management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems.
Responsible for maintaining accurate Bills of Material, Routings, Operations and Work Centers in the ERP system.
Analyze and maintain capacities utilizing the ERP system and recommend changes.
Answer lead-time and availability questions.
Daily interaction with shippers/receivers, supervisors, customer service reps, quality control personnel, and managers as required.
Qualifications:
Two to three years of progressive responsibility
High School diploma
Ability towork under general direction.
Exercises a high level of independent judgment.
Analytical ability is required in for the interpreting of qualitative and quantitative data.
Additional Requirements:
Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR Regulations.
