ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain organized pallet rack
- Work with Production Manager, Team Leaders and Inventory Specialist
- Provide proper labeling on pallet rack
- Consolidate and organize pallet rack on a daily basis
? Present material to work cells
- Maintain contact with work cells to determine production needs
- Use pick lists, visual reference material to supply components
- Pick components for work cells
- Utilize lean principles
- Restock work cell supermarkets
- Advise on material shortages
? Assist with unloading trailers / receiving processes
- Verify product to packing slip
- Correctly identify and label product as needed based on procedure
- Move product into location
- Properly perform incoming inspection process based on procedure
? Load / ship product correctly
- Correctly log product on load sheets
- Remove and process all applicable Nuvar bar code labels
- Load product safely and securely on trailers
- Work directly with customers on special shipments (direct, nose loads)
? Provide material handling of finished goods from work cell to shipping
? Understand and use Syteline computer system and other applications
? Light assembly as needed
? Daily floor scrubbing of warehouse
? Adhere to general shop 5S housekeeping policies
? Work from verbal and written instructions
? Arrive at work station on time everyday
? Consistently perform error free work
? Participate in Continuous Improvement Program
? Consistently work in a safe manner
? Maintain professional behavior and attitude
? Other duties as assigned
