ESSENTIAL FUNTION S AND ROLE:
This is “hands on” Operations Manager role:
Meeting USDA, HACCP, GMFP, and Company standards, and under the supervision V.P. of Operations, the functions of this role are to: Manage production, safety, quality, yields, efficiencies, attendance, payroll, hiring, discipline, work rules, USDA procedures, training, paperwork, communication, and product safety. Ensures that all associates understand and follow company policy. Give proper training to new associates. Follow up on a daily basis the accuracy of equipment and employee performance. Maintain efficiencies at or above standards. Meet daily schedules. Must be able to maintain annual budget Maintain Records of all activities. Manages operation procedures. Ensures Quality of product NTIS/HACCP procedures. Supervises associates. Conducts Weekly Meetings. Require USDA and QA Procedure Safety. Operating under the OSHA & MIOSHA safety standards and rules. And other tasks assigned by his/her V.P. of Operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able and follow all the rules and procedures established by the HACCP program; Must have good attention to detail; Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language; Must be able to work safely; Must maintain 98% attendance; Must be able to perform other tasks assigned by V.P. Of Operations; Must be able to work in a team environment; Must be able to manage 50 associates in Parts Packing area; Must be able to manage 5 associates in Value Added area. Must be able to have a good working relationship with hourly workers, USDA, and Management members; Must be knowledgeable in the Sanitation process; Must be able to and must wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment required while performing role: Protective Eye Wear Ear plugs Hard Hat Hair Net Protective Coat (clothing protector) Forearm protection Plastics gloves Cotton gloves Plastic aprons
