Dematic is growing and needing strong talent to join our team in Holland, MI. Currently, we are seeking a Quality Manager who will be able to lead and drive action around quality activities, initiatives, and response alongside our Mobile Automation and Manufacturing teams. The successful candidate will be able to define work flows, jobs, and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness. His/her area of responsibility is primarily tactical/operational in nature, with some focus on short-term and long-term strategy. Driving innovation is typical of this leadership position, so as to continuously enhance or improve existing policies, products, and methods. Being able to problem-solve/troubleshoot complex issues and identify resource/talent/structural needs will be critical. In addition, these are other accountabilities/experiences that may apply:
Driving continuous improvement, Six Sigma, and/or lean strategy/approach
Managing customer projects and upgrades
Documenting reports at an executive level
Communicating and negotiating with customers
Problem-solving both technical and people-related issues or concerns
