Manages, monitors, and maintains the health of the Epic Clarity, Epic Caboodle, Epic SlicerDicer, and Epic Cube environments to ensure reliable and timely data is delivered to end users. Responsible for coordination of upgrades across these applications. Responsible for designing and developing additional automation of process and simplifying workflows wherever possible
Provides leadership for responding to requests from users for new or modified systems. This may involve planning, designing and analyzing various programs or software. Oversees consultations with users to identify current operating procedures, define system requirements, determine programming and output needs. Recommends technical and procedural design for new or revised complex applications, including system specifications and programming guidelines. Responsible for documentation to describe program development, logic, coding and corrections. Provides technical project management, and often leads work on new implementations and upgrades of related systems. Documents and drives best practices throughout the system. Solves complex problems, given the limitations of resource, process and technology. Participates in project leadership by documenting scope and defining implementation procedures. Staff members in this position are effective and self-sufficient in working within a diverse technology portfolio, and regularly provide guidance and training to less experienced Applications Systems Analysts. In addition, the Lead Application Systems Analysts will be expected to take on additional formal and informal leadership assignments within their area of expertise.
Education - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Experience - 10 years of experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities in related field
Education - Master's Degree
Experience - 7 years of experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities in planning, design, testing, implementation, support and analysis of programs and software Experience in systems development lifecycle, including requirements gathering and design Participant in multiple phases of an integrated system implementation
