Job Details
We are looking for a skilled content and project strategist to assist with merged and acquired teams who join our Content & Communications Experience team. You will work closely with CCX's M&A Content Operations director, Content Migration Technical Program Manager, and content team members in companies that join Salesforce via M&A to analyze and audit their existing help content and tools, and make a plan for migrating the content to Salesforce. You will be responsible for ensuring content quality as well as timelines, milestones, and requirements for moving the content from the acquired team's repository to Salesforce help and training portals.
Areas of Focus + Responsibilities
Serve as liaison with acquired content teams on onboarding, content analysis, new workflow & tools, and Salesforce style and editorial standards. Collaborate closely with CCX's Content Migration TPM on timelines, planning, and technical requirements for content moves. Schedule the new content team for training in content auditing, editorial standards, UI text guidelines, quality standards, style guidelines, content strategy, DITA, information architecture, Acrolinx, and content migration workflow. Schedule the new content team for Inkslinger training (CCX's comprehensive content authoring, building, and publishing training for writers). Collaborate on a content audit of the team's existing content set using the Content Strategy Framework. Using the results of the audit, work with the team to determine what content to keep/refactor, toss, or revise for quality. Determine what content should migrate to Support's knowledge base and collaborate with the new content team, their Support peers, and Salesforce Support ops on a plan for migration. Make a content plan and roadmap for help migration. Collaborate with Trailhead, developer doc, video, and graphics content specialists on plans for auditing and migrating additional types of content Take the lead on developmental editing for the new team, and serve as the liaison with the overall CCX Editing team for stylistic/copyedits.
