Position Summary:
The Graphic Designer is responsible for the development and design of all internal and external digital displays.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Gun Lake Casino's "Unsurpassed Service" standards at all times.
Develops and designs all internal and external digital animation, marquee, kiosks, website, web banners, social media messages, promotional drawing displays, e-blasts, and other gaming-related digital components throughout the casino.
Designs print collateral as needed.
Performs regular review of all creative messages for usability, adherence to brand standards and accessibility; continually looks at best practice enhancement to keep all digital messages fresh and technically current.
Understands print production and proofing process.
Develops and maintains a creative asset library.
Maintains brand standards across all projects.
Responsible for maintaining the flow of projects and meeting deadlines.
Other job-related duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
Must be 18+ years of age.
Must have Bachelor's degree in communication, graphic design, or other related degree.
Three (3) to five (5) years of verifiable employment experience in the field of graphic design.
A portfolio or list of URLs is required.
Proven graphic design skill verified by the submission of sample documents and through testing administered in the selection process.
Desire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible and team-oriented environment.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically InDesign, Flash, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, and Fireworks.
Ability to handle multiple assignments under time constraints and meet deadlines.
Strong understanding of computers and the ability to learn new software programs in a timely fashion.
Physical Requirements:
Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color, and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
Manual dexterity to operate job-related equipment.
Ability to climb, bend, reach, walk and stand for the duration of the shift.
Ability to push, pull, transport, and maneuver items weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance for an extended amount of time.
Work Conditions:
Work is typically performed in an office environment. However, work may be conducted in the casino, which may be unusually hot, cold, and/or noisy and may contain secondhand smoke. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3 ft. wide access. Tasks will also be performed from a sitting or non-sitting position. These tasks include the maintenance and care of assigned area. Constant contact with fellow Team Members.
