IFL Group is a growing company located at the Oakland County International Airport, and Hiring for full-time Line Service Technicians to join our team! All Shifts!
Hiring for the following:
- Day Shift (1)
- Afternoon Shift (2)
- Night Shift (2)
This position consists of a variety of airport duties and tasks relative to assigned areas of responsibilities. All employees must pride themselves on professionalism, be outgoing, personable, and able to work effectively as a team-player.
Duties:
- Perform refueling procedures on company and charter aircraft
- Perform loading and offloading cargo with fork lift
- Direct aircraft to proper parking area, perform lavatory service as requested
- Tow aircraft in compliance with procedures established
- Ability to drive heavy equipment such as fuel trucks, snow plow and other equipment as needed
- Ability to lift 45 pounds or more
- Greet crew members and assist as needed
- Perform grounds keeping and janitorial duties
- Willing to work varied hours, including weekends, holidays and overtime as needed in all-weather environments
- Assist with daily fuel farm inspections including performing preloading and quality control inspections
- Perform daily and monthly fuel truck safety inspections. Ensure vehicles are in safe operating order and running properly
- Insure compliance with all FAA, Federal, State, local safety policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- Be available to work weekends, holidays if required
- Be available to work 1st or 2nd and 3rd shift
- Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record
- Pass all background, security check and drug test
- Ability to multitask; and have excellent communication and organizational skills.
