As part of our shop technical team qualified employee will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical repair, be detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties:
Diagnose and repair equipment to ensure the equipment is functioning properly and is in compliance with Northern Machining & Repair Inc standards.
- Perform equipment preventative maintenance.
- Complete an in-depth inspection of the equipment to identify the repair needs.
- Complete the repair order process from start to finish for numerous types of equipment for the following industries: mining, construction, logging, marine and paper.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED and (3+) three years experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on electrical and mechanical repairs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required; must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, and vendors.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently; occasionally up to 100 pounds by himself or herself.
