Responsible to lead organizational change to streamline and simplify business processes, and to optimize organizational structure, activities and roles in North America. Lead the analysis, development and implementation of existing and new business processes that will drive greater customer satisfaction, cost efficiencies and adherence to contractual compliance/operational standards across Business Units and Functions. Take innovative measures to reduce internal business complexity and productivity roadblocks on a variety of fronts ranging from technical and administrative process improvements to negotiating state incentives and managing facilities improvement and/or relocation projects. Analyze, develop and implement current and new business processes and practices across the NAFTA region that support the elimination of unnecessary complexity within business processes and identify better ways of working in line with corporate global governance processes and procedures. Identify and create methodologies to rectify performance issues and drive operational excellence, across the business through process improvement methodologies and the application of innovative thinking whilst ensuring business processes meet the requirements/objectives as defined by him. Work with NAFTA Senior Management Team and central functions to deliver project execution excellence together, assessing operational performance against required actual and future (to be introduced) process metrics. Direct subordinate team to elicit requirements and drive process change using staff interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, business analysis and workflow analysis. Direct subordinate team to work with other team members and business services departments to devise new support material based on the revised processes, to include training, reporting and systems enhancements. Implement and oversee an effective monitoring system to be used by Comau personnel that measures performance against organizational and business goals. Oversee and manage the identification of trends and process variations as part of establishing a continuous improvement monitoring system. Lead and facilitate meetings with stake holders to drive ideas and solutions. Assess required improvements, develop and implement solutions through his subordinate team and project-based teams to address poor performance. Direct subordinate team to actively monitor project risks to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address in advance. Advise project leads or sponsors on key business process risks and issues impacting the project execution, providing workable solutions as required. Coach and guide business managers on any areas of improvement. Develop and lead a team of dotted line subordinate professionals to ensure that the team achieves its business objectives and complies with all relevant regulations and laws including supporting lessons learned process.
