We're looking to add a Business Developer to Convivial Brands for our Design Design brand! As a passionate hunter for new business, your primary responsibilities in this role are to prospect, meet wtih, and build relationships with key account buyers within big-box department stores, grocery store chains, and other gourmet markets with two or more doors across the United States. You'll own the top line revenue and ensure the necessary profit margin is maintained from a sales perspective - growing profitable sales by expanding brand awareness, store footage, and opening new accounts. You will also implement the advancement of B2B sales across the Design Design brand by driving new business, new revenue, and new opportunities.
The Position:
- Prospects New Business and scans the market for new opportunities for growth. This includes prospecting, cold calling, meeting prospective clients, presentations, networking, and follow-up and follow-through.
- Creatively works to meet and sell new buyers and open new accounts.
- Performs cold, warm, and hot reach outs and maintains consistent follow-through to ultimately close the sale.
- Collaborates with Sales Operations department on implementation of new customer programs.
- Creates and monitors reporting and analytics to meet and exceed sales KPI’s.
- Manages accounts to maintain great relationships and increase footage within store space.
- Facilitates profitable sales through:
- Analyzing and understanding the Design Design product line to place correct product within stores.
- Acting as the brand leader within the field for Design Design and understanding customers’ needs and wants, as well as the necessary measurables for Design Design.
- Building and fostering a relationship with key buyers based on trust to build buyer confidence in order to facilitate sales growth.
- Meeting or exceeding Design Design’s sales KPIs for growth and expansion.
- Internal Leadership:
- Lead and manage needs to be successful in the field by utilizing the Global Marketing shared-services, Product Development, and Operations departments to drive projects to execution.
- Collaborates in the creation and maintenance of the sales collateral toolbox including prospecting tools, presentation tools, and other key necessities to ensure the ability to present and close stores/buyers effectively.
- Creates effective systems for the team to meet sales goals from your business-developing perspective.
