Due to our continued growth we are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to plan and direct activities concerned with development, application and maintenance of quality standards for manufacturing processes, materials and products. Identifying and implementing continuous improvements initiatives to improve reliability, process consistency and quality metrics.

Plascore has established itself in the aerospace, automotive and marine industries as a global manufacturer of honeycomb core, machined honeycomb, composite structures and cleanroom systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Perform 1st article, PPAP, APQP.
•Maintain high level of knowledge and understanding of relevant customer and regulatory standards. Support conformance to customer specifications.
•Interface with Engineering and Operations to ensure transfer to production of new products are in accordance with customer requirements.
•Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance product and process quality.
•Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints.
•Strong problem solving skills.
•Participate in internal and external audits.
•Assist in the creation and maintenance of company quality documentation, process specification etc.
•Bachelor's Degree in a technical field preferred or equivalent experience
•Experience in a manufacturing environment responsible for quality
•Experience supporting AS 9100 or TS 16949 initiatives
•Excellent communication and written skills
•Proficient with GD&T
•Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR Regulations. Therefore, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident ('Green Card').
