As a member of the Supply Chain Procurement and Logistics team you will be part of a talented and experienced group responsible for developing, testing, enhancing, and supporting a suite of world class software solutions. This role will focus on SAP features (Purchase Order, Non-Stock Ordering) and integrated, cloud-based custom solutions that provide Product Recall, Order Fulfillment and EDI capabilities for our business. The key to success in this role is a focus on quality, technology, innovation, a desire to exceed customer expectations, knowledge of Agile principles, and an ability to manage change. This role is expected to collaborate with Product Owners, Quality Control Engineers, Application Architects, Business Analysts, Software Developers, and Scrum Masters in order to provide the right solutions that brings our customers the most value. Position Summary: Develops, creates, and modifies general computer application, software or specialized utility programs. Analyzes user needs and develops software solutions. Designs software or customizes software to optimize operational efficiency. Provides technical leadership for projects. A Senior Software Engineer must perform the detailed responsibilities listed below.
What you will do: * Analyzes, reviews and tests for accuracy and optimal implementation of developed solutions. * Analyzes current business systems, determines scope and estimates for tasks related to issues to be resolved. * Develops programs or scripts according to specification and established coding standards. * Performs integrated testing of systems for accuracy, reliability and optimal performance. * Constructs various software components and validates completeness and quality. * May coordinate development efforts, and coordinate and assist with codes reviews. * Establishes and enforces coding standards for programs or scripts. * Mentors Associate or Intermediate software engineers. * Analyzes and resolves program/script or system failures. * Facilitates formal code reviews for programs/scripts. * Performs software system maintenance, support and requirement analysis. * Assists in designing GUI and software components.
