MMI Engineered Solutions, a leader in plastic injection molding, is currently seeking a Janitor in our Saline, Michigan location. MMI Engineered Solutions is an established but growing enterprise providing world-class engineering solutions for advanced composites and engineered resins across multiple industries. We engineer innovative ideas for today's complex design and manufacturing issues.
The Janitor/Facilities Maintenance position will report to the Manufacturing Engineer and support basic janitorial functions for the assigned facility. Additionally, this position will support maintenance activities as it relates to the assigned facility.
Shift hours: 7pm- 3am
Essential Functions
- Maintain cleanliness of all restrooms and breakrooms, and office.
- Maintain all trash receptacles within the facility.
- Coordinate contract services for electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building requirements.
- Support all cleaning requirements as defined by the Manufacturing Engineering/Facilities Manager.
- Maintain internal/external facilities from a cleanliness and organization standpoint.
- Maintain the buildings internal/external facilities maintenance.
- Support Preventative Maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be detail oriented and possess excellent follow up skills
- Must be organized and work well with constant priority changes
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
