HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Business Development - Collaborating with sales agencies together you will develop annual customer plans that the competition will wish they thought of. This includes owning the internal and external setup of new customers. Leveraging resources and technology to drive business strategies will be key to your success. You will regularly attend Food Shows and Joint Business Planning (JBP) meetings at top customers.
Leadership - This position will be responsible for managing Broker Relationships across customers. Providing honest feedback you will present mid-year and year-end scorecard reviews to the broker.
Collaboration - You will be responsible for managing and leading retail surge opportunities across customers across the Kellogg Company. Communicating with the appropriate people within the Kellogg region sales teams including Key Account Executives, National Account Executives, Managers of Team Sales, and Director levels you will discuss account cooperation and innovation opportunities.
Broker Partnerships - This position collaborates with Sales Agencies for the internal business planning process. You will oversees Trade Promotions Management (TPM) maintenance, Contractual Agreements and Deductions. This will also involve leading sales agency contract negotiation with Kellogg Procurement.
Telesales - You will ensure plans, volume and profit targets are met by telesales customers. As you work to develop and manage account profiles, you will encompass volume history, competitive activity, product mixes, sales trends, shelf space and position, new items and display penetration.
Budget Management - Fully owning the P&L you will manage the monthly forecast submission (CAP file).
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
High School Diploma / GED
Previous CPG industryexperience and sales experience
Prior exposure and/orexperience with grocery retail accounts.
Experience selling in retailstores, and at HQ level at decisions making levels
Experience working in amatrix environment and in leading peers and key project groups
High collaborative, persuasivestyle.
Above average proficiency inMicrosoft office suite
In this role you couldtravel overnight up to 25% of the time but may vary depending on locationof residency.
The ideal candidate willreside in Battle Creek, MI or Chicago, IL and have potential to work outof a Kellogg Office local to these locations.
