Eisenhower Center is seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to provide occupational therapy services at our residential rehabilitation facilities serving adults with acquired brain injury. Eisenhower Center’s specialized programs address education and care for individuals with health/behavioral issues from TBI, post-concussion syndrome, post-traumatic stress or other similar diagnoses. Our clientele consists of civilians, returning veterans, and professional athletes. Work locations include both Ann Arbor, Michigan and Manchester, Michigan campuses.
Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from accredited program
Successful completion of National Certification Examination
Current Michigan State Licensure
Ability to obtain Michigan chauffeur’s license and insurable
Knowledgeable and competent to provide services to adults with acquired brain injury and spinal cord injury
Perform evaluations, establish and implement treatment plans for diverse clientele who have acquired TBI or similar diagnoses
Common program areas include; ADL, IADL (home and financial management), adaptive equipment and community reintegration
Effectively communicate with rehabilitation staff and unit managers to ensure treatment is implemented as recommended
Demonstrate the ability to be organized and concise through timely submission of client reports
Work in both Ann Arbor, Michigan and Manchester, Michigan campuses
Implements the philosophy and objective of Eisenhower Center’s program
