The successful candidate for this position requires:
Knowledge and understanding of production activities
Demonstrated experience with project initiatives by examination of the effects on current and prospective processes in order to produce quality parts
History of working with plant maintenance and outside contractors is required
Understanding of patterns, tooling and layout, sand systems and sand conditions as it relates to quality and operations is a plus
Experience with a Cupola operation including pouring time and temperature is a plus
The ideal candidate must have a four-year Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline degree.
Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment required.
Strong communication and computer skills required.
