Receives assignment and checks schedules daily
Assists with resident/patient care needs and comforts including but not limited to:
Oral hygiene and mouth care.
Bathing functions and dressing/undressing, as necessary.
Nail care, shaving, and hair care.
Lifting, turning, positioning, and transporting residents.
Makes both occupied and unoccupied beds (as assigned).
Keeps residents/patients dry (i.e., change gown, clothing, linen, etc.) when he/she becomes soiled or wet.
Bowel or bladder functions.
Checks residents/patients frequently to assure that their personal care needs are being met.
Completing all documentation by the end of shift.
Assisting with nursing and food service functions.
In this position you will be subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Villa Healthcare.
Employees will be required to provide proof of vaccination for COVID-19 by an FDA-approved vaccine prior to starting employment.
Villa Healthcare will consider requests for exemptions based on medical condition or religious beliefs in accordance with applicable Federal laws.
Requirements:
At least two years of LTC, MS, or home Health experience - Required.
BLS (AHA) - Required.
Rose City is a different Villa site than you may be used too.
Most compliance is due prior to start.
Covid Vaccine Required.
Current State Certification for Nursing Assistant.

Dedication and commitment to the resident's needs.
Ability to fulfill the essential functions of the role.
Certification Requirements: BLS (AHA).
Michigan State License.
Must have an active MI license at time of submission.
