A BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Intern, Quality Engineering, will be eager to learn and contribute to assessing opportunities for improvement throughout the manufacturing process, implementing solutions, and gather experience relevant to their field of study. The Intern, Quality Engineering reports to the Quality Manager.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Perform, under supervision, routine aspects of Quality engineering, requiring knowledge and applicati of principles learned in the course of study.
Participate in identifying continuous improvement opportunities to increase through put on the manufacturing floor.
Provide support to Engineers, Programmers, and Engineer Technicians to learn Quality processes and assist with projects as assigned.
Assist in the analysis of data for inspection reduction.
Assist with the coordination of projects from conception through final plan preparations.
Assist with creating and/or modifying work procedures, processes, and/or specifications.
Support quality and compliance by utilizing One Orchid global processes and complying with all Quality Management Systems (QMS) documentation requirements and establishing/supporting plan(s) to meet/exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Quality that support Safety, Compliance, Six Sigma Quality, On-Time Delivery (OTD) and financial objectives.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Enrollment in a Degree Program (Preferred)
2.5 GPA or equivalent (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
1+ Year Prior Work Experience (Preferred)
