As Scrum Master, you will be our technical lead of the development teams building products to delight our customers. You must have experience leading successful scrums and have strong technical and customer service skills.
What you will do
- Lead the software development life cycle (SDLC) processes, technology, and tools
- Lead multiple scrum teams
- Work closely with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the user stories including the product backlog refinement
- Develop team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint
- Schedule and facilitate scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review and retrospectives
- Measure and monitor progress
- Manage relationships and coordinate with stakeholders
- Run early Proof of Concept projects / studies
- Set deadlines and deliverables to align with stakeholder requirements
- Collaborate with Product Owners or Program Managers to communicate delivery of product and escalate key risks and issues impeding scrum team effectiveness
- Contribute to process improvement and learning to optimize of scrum team velocity
- Ensure and promote compliance with security and other standards
What you'll need to get the job done
- Experience as a practicing, certified Scrum Master
- 3+ years multi-project management experience in a technical (SDLC) environment
- Able to promote the value of servant leadership, situational awareness, conflict management, continuous improvement, empowerment and increasing transparency
- Experienced with writing effective user stories, test plans, and acceptance criteria
- Knowledge of design patterns and best practices for facilitation of agile teams
- Experienced team building skills working with various-sized, distributed, or co-located teams
- Ability to server multiple teams with low complexity deliverables
- Proficiency in using project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Confluence
- Comfortable leading diverse, high-performance teams
- Experience with GitHub, Jenkins, and cloud solutions
- Detailed understanding of agile software development lifecycles
- Experience with Agile/DevOps/Quality practices (test-driven development, test automation, etc.)
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI, CD) processes and tools
- Extensive knowledge of SDLC methodologies
- Startup mentality and get hands dirty mindset
- Excellent written, inter-personal and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree or 7+ years of software development experience
- Familiarity with these technologies: Microsoft .NET, C#, SQL, REST APIs, JavaScript/Angular, Atlassian products (JIRA & Confluence), test automation, and unit test frameworks
Work Environment
This job is in a professional, dynamic office environment. At times, this position can require long hours and weekend work.
