• Make fully dimensioned 3D models to tolerance drawings and specifications • Completion of mold designs from beginning to end • Review and provide feedback on internal designs • Work with 3D models and 2D drawings • Create and maintain organized records and documentation of current projects for the department • Verify setup, offsets and tool compensation of CNC equipment • Set up and create new programs and processes on CNC equipment • Use gages and various inspection tools to verify dimensions and tolerances • Maintain inventory of tooling and consumable requirements for the CNC machinery • Trouble shoot molds once they are in service • Perform these and all other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management
• All team members are expected to keep their work area clean, organized and maintain a high level of safety and quality • Ability to communicate effectively with other team members, including between shifts • Ability to proceed on work assignments with minimum supervision or assistance • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Ability to work within High Performance Team (HPT) guidelines • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language, including spelling, grammar and composition • Requires advanced computer and math skills • Ability to successfully problem solve/trouble shoot to resolve tooling and mold related issues and other analytical methods applicable to related requirements per standards and specifications • Ability to read and interpret required paperwork with high degree of accuracy • Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude • Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time when doing computer work • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time when involved in projects on the floor • Must be able to stand, sit, reach, bend, twist, reach overhead, walk and carry molds, materials or product occasionally during an 8-hour shift • Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. occasionally during an 8-hour shift • Must be able to tolerate a mold shop environment which includes fumes, dust and oil

• Associates degree or working towards a degree • Three years' experience in a mold shop environment • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Pro Engineer, Pro Mold and Auto Cad Inventor • Proficiency in Hurco, Fanuc, Bridgeport and Proto Trax Controls • Experience or familiarity with design tooling, jigs and fixtures • Experience with unscrewing, hot runners and over molding • Experience and familiarity with CNC programming and using CAM software to program equipment and transfer data • Must possess a good understanding of injection mold process, particularly plastic resin, fits and tolerances and industry standard practices
Pay, Benefits, Work Schedule
This is a salary position on the day shift. Compensation will be determined by qualifications and experience. Willingness to work overtime if necessary is required.
