The City of Ishpeming is accepting applications for a Heavy Equipment Operator -Water/Sewer positions in the Department of Public Works. Work includes operation of heavy and light equipment, assists with construction/maintenance of various City utility systems, and performs all types of repairs and construction, when required, on sewer, water, and storm sewer mains and appurtenances. A valid State of Michigan driver's license with a CDL endorsement, or ability to obtain a CDL within 45 days of hire, and an excellent driving record is required. The starting wage is $26.89 per hour and includes a benefit package.
