This position maintains all aspects of mechanical and electrical maintenance throughout the Treatment plant, and inside and outside of all buildings, departments and equipment with a focus on uptime. Maintain all equipment with predictive and preventive maintenance to prevent any downtime from mechanical failure.
Accountabilities
- Ensure high quality of workmanship is being properly performed at all times to minimize downtime throughout the facility.
- Perform preventative and regulatory maintenance on all equipment, buildings, tools and any/all machinery.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance problems and/or repairs. Order supplies and parts as needed.
- Practice Lock Out-Tag Out, hazardous waste and material handling procedures.
- Utilize Manager Plus Software for all work orders and completing necessary paperwork.
- Complete all work orders in a timely manner.
- Maintain housekeeping in all of site’s locations.
- Responsibly follow all safety procedures and policies, work together with co-workers to ensure a safe working environment and report all accidents or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of previous maintenance experience required
- Ability and desire to troubleshoot and problem solve
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience preferred
- Welding experience preferred
- Ability to bend and lift up to 50lbs
- Reading, writing, and math competency demonstrated by high school diploma or equivalent
