Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a full time Paint Technician for our client in Roseville, MI. This position includes application to automotive, aerospace, and decorative coatings that align with customer specifications
Responsibilities:
- Properly formulate all coatings including primer and undercoats, base color and clear coats by supplier technical data support documents
- Provide correctly matched (OEM spec) color products in ready to use formulas for painters using all color tools provided by supplier
- Mix only the amount of product needed to complete the job minimizing waste using the paint suppliers mix-management system
- Properly clean and maintain all equipment in proper working order
- Maintain paint area, and paint storage rooms are clean and product is stored as directed
?Qualifications:
- 2+ years in automotive body painting is required
- Strong basic math and computer knowledge in order operate mixing software
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented
