We are seeking entry level candidates for our Water Blasting position in Lansing, MI to carry out cleaning and maintenance duties.
Job Duties:
- Safely operating industrial hydroblasters and machines while ensuring all protective functions are utilized.
- Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Make adjustments and minor repairs
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
Skills
- Proven working experience as a cleaner
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity and dependability
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
1. Ability to move up to 50 Lbs., with or without accommodation.
2. Ability to maintain a consistent workload that involves physical manual labor.
3. Ability to maintain alertness and fitness for duty.
4. Ability to position oneself for work conducted in and around confined spaces. Work at heights.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour_
1st Shift - 7am - 3:30pm
2nd Shift - 3pm - 11:30pm
