SENIOR MATERIALS SPECIALIST - ELECTRONIC SEMICONDUCTORS
SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN
A Supply Chain Manager is a professional who oversees every stage of an organization's supply chain specifically for Semiconductors from purchasing raw materials to production. They must ensure that the product comes at just the right time and coordinate with Purchasing and the perspective Lear facility. Supply chain managers develop and monitor a company's supply chain strategy. Their goal is to improve productivity and efficiency and reduce costs while securing high quality material for their company
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues
Long term supply / capacity capability analytics
Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
Streamline issue escalation
Strong Mgt. Relationship with Suppliers
Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly
Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents)
Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Supplier Customer Service Teams
Your Qualifications:
BA in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or similar relevant field
Experience with Automotive Electronics and software
Previous working experience as a Supply Chain Manager
Hands on experience with supply chain management software
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Team player
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Demonstrate a strong comradery with team members
Understanding of purchasing commodity management
Ability to close out open issues in a timely fashion
Strong written communication and presentation skills
Supplier relationship management
Ability to collaborate with leaders across many functions and regions
Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales and Program Management
