POSTING: Delta County is seeking qualified applicants for the position of ELECTIONS/VITALS RECORDS CLERK.
DUTIES: Under the supervision of the County Clerk\Register of Deeds, this position is responsible for coordinating official elections held within the County to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and conformance with County, State and Federal election requirements. QUALIFICATIONS: Associates degree in business, clerical or legal field. Working knowledge of office equipment; copiers, computers, fax machines and calculators. Must be proficient in Excel and Word. Must be able to bonded. Typing – 45 words/per minute. Spelling and bookkeeping skills. Must be able to lift 25 pounds. Testing will be required.
HOURS: Thirty seven and one half (37.5)hours per week.
PHYSICAL: Must be able to pass physical/drug screen.
SALARY: $ 18.16 PER HOUR PLUS BENEFIT PACKAGE (medical, vision, dental, life insurance, retirement and more)
