Maintenance (Entry Level)
REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager
SUMMARY:
Position will be responsible to maintain a clean and orderly manufacturing environment. Will
also be tasked with various maintenance responsibilities for equipment and facilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Removal and baling of cardboard.
Collection of recycling material throughout facility.
Snow removal and sidewalk salting in winter.
Maintains building, performing minor and routine projects as required.
Maintains cleanliness of interior/exterior of building as needed.
Notifies management concerning need for major and minor repair to the facility.
Maintain an organized work area and request reorder of material as needed.
Performs basic Preventive Maintenance on machines and equipment
Must be able to operate fork lifts and platform lifts where needed or required.
Must be able to work at heights up to 24’ when required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move
up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral
vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
