Carpenter must know how to execute building tasks, safely plan work activities, communicate effectively, train/lead others, follow up and achieve results.
- Have performed or understands every aspect of residential construction; starting with footings to putting the last shingle on the roof.
- Efficiently organize tools, equipment, and materials to safely meet schedule targets.
- Ability to articulate a common operating picture to the crew to achieve desired results.
- Report to manager as needed.
- Act as a liaison between customer and manager as needed.
- Solve problems, provide training, display integrity and honesty, be fair and impartial, make legal and ethical decisions, hold others accountable to legal and ethical practices.
Wage is between $20 and $35, based on experience.
