A Cashier represents the face of our company. This role is responsible for setting the tone for a pleasant customer service experience by demonstrating professional communication with customers and creating a seamless customer service experience with each transaction.
We are looking for people with some experience in customer service to join our team at our Kingsley and Kalkaska Northland Food Stores. We have part time shifts available that range from morning to afternoons.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
-Operate a cash register with proper cash handling efficiently and effectively.
-Count proper change back to customers and give receipt for each transaction.
-Answer any customer questions or guide customer to coworker that can answer questions.
-Always have a courteous and pleasant tone regardless of customer presentation.
-Handle customer complaints with dignity and respect.
-Clearly communicate effectively with coworkers, leaders, and your customers.
-Assist with customer concerns and needs.
-Friendly personality and able to greet customers and coworkers.
