Summary:
A unit aid will stock supplies on the nursing unit and in patient rooms and provide general cleaning of areas/surfaces not done by housekeeping.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Determine standard stock for “ready rooms” for new patient admissions as well as daily needs.
- Stock individual patient rooms with supplies needed by nursing staff on a daily basis.
- Act as a resource for nursing staff to secure needed items and act as an interface with CSR staff.
- Clean nursing unit spaces not covered by housekeeping including but not limited to break rooms and nurses stations/computers/monitors and maintain clean and dirty utility rooms.

Essential Job Qualifications (Knowledge, Education, and Training Requirements):
- High school education
- Previous hospital supply stocking experience desired
- Ability to work in efficient and timely manner
- Excellent team work and customer service skills
- Physical Demands: Able to exert up to 50 pounds of force regularly (up to 2/3 of the time); able to lift, carry, push, pull, up to 50 pounds occasionally; able to sit occasionally (1/3) of the time. Involve frequent periods of time involving walking or standing; able to use keyboard frequently (1/3 to 2/3 of the time)
