Associate ERP Logistics Consultant
OST is searching for an Associate ERP Logistics consultant to join our growing team! As a consultant, you will leverage your experience in logistics to provide business/functional expertise on client ERP implementations. Working with an incredibly talented team of ERP Consultants you will serve in a client-facing role to understand business requirements and merge software capabilities with these requirements to provide customers with best-in-class business process solutions.

What you’ll accomplish
At the direction and with the assistance of the practice lead, team lead, and/or lead/senior consults, you will:
- Work with decision-makers, end users and team members to gather requirements and recommend optimal business processes relative to ERP functionality
- Understand logistics business processes (e.g., purchasing, planning, sales, manufacturing, warehousing, etc.) and devise methods to implement them within the ERP application
- Conduct functional assessments at client sites within the logistics areas
- Configure and test ERP functionality to satisfy specific business requirements
- Assist with full site implementations and upgrades, which include pilot testing, data validation, development of data transformation rules and governance procedures, and post implementation support
- Troubleshoot ERP anomalies and process issues and interact with ERP system support provider when necessary to resolve software functional issues
- Maintain documentation relative to project-specific and overall ERP implementation/upgrade methodologies
- Interact with business users for training, problem solving and automation of business processes
- Identify and communicate opportunities to improve current processes and procedures
- Assess impacts of system changes and ensure effective delivery of application functionality and integration
- Liaising between client and developers to help define custom programming needs
- Identify, communicate, and work with leadership to resolve any client issues which could affect the client business relationship.
What you’ll bring:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience with ERP applications in a logistics capacity (experience with Infor LN ERP in a manufacturing/distribution/planning environment is helpful)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field of study. Equivalent experience in Materials Management, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management or Factory Supervision considered
- Strong functional knowledge of logistics
- Demonstrated success working in a team environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to approach a problem and assess options from a logical position
- Willingness to travel to client locations as needed
