GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Performs preventative maintenance, repairs and inspections of vehicles and equipment as directed

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform necessary tasks to keep company vehicles and equipment in proper working order and condition
• Maintain and repair trucks, trailers, and any other Company owned/leased vehicles.
• Perform routine inspections of Company owned vehicles and equipment in accordance with Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, State Regulations, and Company Compliance.
• Complete required inspection and/or maintenance records.
• Responsible for proper housekeeping in shop and yard.
• Responsible for adhering to applicable safety and environmental regulations with regard to operation of fleet maintenance.
• Respond as directed to roadside maintenance needs.
• Maintain equipment status board.
