Salesforce Systems Manager
Main Office (MOS)
Position Summary
The Salesforce Systems Manager is responsible for the ownership, design, configuration, implementation, testing, communication, maintenance, and administration in support of the companys core operating systems strategy.
Duties
1 Perform Salesforce administration activities, including platform, user, object model, and reporting configuration.
2 Oversees system roadmap and configuration across the entire Salesforce landscape
3 Maintains and grows expertise in software capabilities, both current and on future release roadmap.
4 Partners with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform and gain buy in on the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
5 Manages master database architecture.
6 Maintains internal documentation to support system administration desktop procedures.
7 Works with project teams to coordinate system upgrades including timing, testing, and rollout.
8 Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) for system architecture, data models, etc.
9 Partners with internal stakeholders and Salesforce Developers(s) to build new capabilities and integrations on the Salesforce platform.
10 Performs and manages CRM process and technology change management activities, including rollout of solutions, upgrades and applications, while minimizing business disruption
11 Collaborates across other business and technology teams within the organization
12 Serves as a point of escalation for advanced issue resolution and provide technical and troubleshooting assistance
13 Administers dashboard building and maintenance as requested.
14 Acts as relationship management point of contact with software vendors.
15 Dedicates time to research emerging tech trends that may apply to enterprise and drive adoption strategy.
16 Drives feature requests with software vendors and internal development team.
17 Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in information technology or related field (Required)
* 5 years experience in product ownership, system administration, or system support role
* 3 years experience using Salesforce
* Intermediate level of Salesforce configuration, workflow & approval process knowledge
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proven record of continually seeking learning opportunities
* Strong customer service skills
* Ability to understand and translate the voice of business customers
* Ability to think creatively to solve customer requests using configuration
* Strong negotiation, presentation, and reporting skills
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Visio
* Demonstrated ability to take initiative and embrace change
* Knowledge of configuration and support best practices and methodologies
