Griffin Transportation in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a full time 30-40 hours per week day cab driver (occasional overnight) as a fill in for vacations, some weekends, and as coverage is needed for 1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts. The ideal candidate would be around the Battle Creek, MI area. The fundamental responsibility is to transport customer goods from one location to another, between yards, work sites, and company/customer facilities in a punctual, efficient and timely manner. Maintain logs, ensure that all necessary shipping credentials/bill of lading are in order. Maintain all essential paperwork for pick up/delivery. The driver must comply with all federal, state, and local regulations for the secure and safe operation of a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) in performing his/her duties. Must have a valid CDL-A license. (EOE, VETS) submit resume.
