Effectively leads the Technical Department of the Alabaster Quarry through the transition of closing the northwest quarry to opening the Avery quarry including investigating future reserves. This position oversees 1 project engineer and 1 co-op. Manager is responsible for training, motivating and maintaining a level of safety for all department employees to provide for an efficient operation, consistent with overall company safety objectives.
Responsible for the development and implementation of all process control/programming, infrastructure/major maintenance and substantial planned capital improvement programs including board level strategic capital projects for the division.
Responsible for the administration of the RPM Model, Reliability Focused Maintenance, and all related reliability activities. Facilitates Reliability Focused Maintenance Program, RPM Committee activities, and Reliability Team activities/PPM optimization.
Recognizes employees' strengths and weaknesses provide coaching and motivates employees as individuals and a team. Development planning and implementation for department employees on a continual basis is necessary. Highly developed technical skills with an ability to propel the plant forward by recognizing and implementing advancements in automation and technology.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience in Engineering, technical or manufacturing. Blackbelt or Greenbelt experience is preferred.
