This off-shift EBPVD TECHNICIAN position will be located in our plant 4, Thermatech Coatings Operation. Primary responsibilities will include:
Run Electron Beam Physical Deposition furnace
Execute to the production schedule
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
Direct small hourly workforce that is assigned to the furnace support operations
Maintain tooling inventory
Ensure employee safety and process integrity.
Must be able to work overtime during the week when requested.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Minimum of two years of consistent post high school work experience.
Successfully meet the standardized Pre-Visor testing requirements. If applicant has worked as a technician at Howmet in the past 10 years or possesses a minimum of an associate degree, testing is not required.
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
This position is subject to the Internal Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
Preferred Qualifications:
Manufacturing experience
Previous experience in electronics, vacuum furnaces, and manufacturing process troubleshooting.
Strong mechanical aptitude as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel a plus
