MOKA is seeking a Residential Coordinator to provide leadership to the overall operations of multiple residential programs. The Residential Coordinator directs the day to day operations of multiple residential programs, providing supervision to the home supervisor(s), and oversees residential services and community based supports provided to individuals with developmental disabilities.
Essential Functions: Include the following, other duties may be assigned
Provide leadership and direct supervision for several supervisors including recruitment, hiring, training, performance monitoring and evaluation.
Provide systems analysis for residential and community based services. Recommending and participating in system redesign as needed.
Ensure consistency in quality of services throughout the region and promote continuous quality improvement throughout the region through the use of training, technology, and communication.
Monitor service delivery (residential, community based supports, clinical, supports coordination) to ensure timely and effective implementation of person centered plans.
Participate in residential and community based support staff recruitment, interviewing, and hiring to the extent necessary to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency between departments as well as throughout the region.
Participate in residential support staff performance monitoring and evaluation in conjunction with supervisors, including on site observation, commendations, reviewing performance appraisals and approving corrective action.
Ensure the establishment and maintenance of staffing patterns in the homes that meet the needs of persons served while ensuring efficient and effective use of human and techno- logical resources.
Participates in establishing budgets and cost controls, prioritizing expenditures, reviewing budget reports and directing supervisors on such issues.
Coordinate physical plant maintenance, major repairs, and equipment purchasing with the residential supervisors and designated personnel at the corporate office to ensure timeliness and quality.
Ensure compliance with agency, accreditation, licensing, contract, and legal requirements, including monitoring compliance, preparation and participation in audits, and developing and monitoring corrective action plans as necessary.
Review adverse event reports, monitor trends and take action to prevent or minimize ad- verse effects of these events. Identify and coordinate clinical issues with key clinical team members.
Investigate recipient rights complaints and conduct investigations and complete reports as needed.
Attend a variety of meetings and participate in assigned committees both in areas of collecting information for self and/or staff and contributing ideas and information.
Monitor the use or non-use of funds in the Resident Trust Account and problem solve irregularities with supervisors and supports coordinators as needed.
