Looking for CENAs to join our 5 Star Facility team! We are looking for employees that embrace the changing health-care environment and are dedicated to providing excellent care to our residents.
Summary: Under supervision, provides basic nursing assistance and assists residents with activities of daily living.
Essential Functions:
- Answer resident lights to determine residents' needs.
- Provide physical support to assist residents to perform daily living activities, such as getting out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and eating.
- Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care.
- Record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration rate, as directed by medical or nursing staff.
- Assist resident with range of motion exercises.
- Assist residents with mealtimes.
- Measure and record food and fluid intake or urinary and fecal output, reporting changes to medical or nursing staff.
- Observe or examine patients to detect symptoms that may require medical attention, such as bruises, open wounds, or hematuria.
- Document or otherwise report observations of resident behavior, complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Change bed linens or make beds.
- Turn or reposition bedridden residents.
- Document using PCC.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members and coworkers.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a team
- Customer service skills preferred
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- License(s): State Certified CNA license required
- Experience: No experience required.
- Position Hours: 2:30p-11:00p, 10:30p-7:00a
